FAQS

1. is this Foundation genuine and not a scam ?

While Leanne and her friends are the organizers and initiators of the Foundation, they have agreed that Dr. Mathews will administer the money and Foundation overall, because he has no vested interest other than to see these young women succeed.

Dr. Mathews is a Sociologist and Anthropologist in Asian studies & the Philippines.

He was Managing Editor of Pilipinas, and is Secretary of the Philippines Studies Assoc of Aust.

He has authored numerous books & academic journal articles, among which are:

Asian Cam Models: Digital virtual virgin prostitutes? https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/447769

Travellers in Taiwan: Reflections on Formosa  by Kitty Lee and Paul Mathews http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/458374

MY RIDDLE BOOK. 170 all-time riddles & jokes. By Jhenna Umali & Paul Mathews https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/456860

He also undertakes Editing & Proofreading services: http://dr-mathews-editing-proofreading.yolasite.com

His credentials can be substantiated by reference to other well-known Filipinists such as Prof. Raul Pertierra, Prof. Mark Turner, author and scholar Renato Perdon, and among many Filipinos in Canberra.

 2. Can I donate even a small amount?

YES ! --- Even $2 helps. If 2,000 people donate only $2 then that's $4,000, and in pesos that's already big: 160,000 pesos.

But you don't have to simply donate, you can BUY an E-book, so you get something real and immediate for your small outlay.

 3. What do I get for my donation?

The Foundation will provide you with the girls' email addresses, so you can write to them directly, and keep in contact about how they and their kids are doing. You can even visit them next time you're in the Philippines.

Each semester, or on special occasions, you will get an update of how the girl/s are doing—passing their exams, getting a job, a birthday, their kids' achievements, etc. Stay in touch ! You will see how your small donation is working!

And of course, a financial statement every 6 months.

 4. How much is a cup of coffee?

About $3-$4.

How much is a girl's education that will last her a lifetime ? $2

That's all we ask.

Salamat po.
